What to expect ?

Level: Beginner. Duration: ½ day. Maximum depth: 12 m. Discover Scuba Diving in a cenote is dedicated to those who have never dived before. Instead of having your first underwater experience in a swimming pool, you will dive in a very unique, natural and authentic place in the world ! You'll discover a very unique place : Casa cenote is an open air cenote in the middle of the mangrove with crystal clear water and a beautiful endemic wildlife to observe. Old (up to 70 years old) or Young (from 10 years old on) will live their first underwater experience respecting the highest safety standards. You just need to know how to swim. In small groups (max 4 divers per guide), after a one hour briefing about how to use your gear and comunicate underwater and some practical exercices underwater, you'll do an unforgettable 40 minutes dive down to 12 meters deep. Treat yourself to this out of the ordinary experience! Dare a once in a lifetime, underwater adventure respecting the most rigorous safety standards. What to expect ? Before beginning, we assure that your equipment is perfectly adapted to your size. You will try on flippers, masks, BCD (Buoyancy Control Device) and wetsuits before the class given on land. For a ½ hour we will teach you the basic, easy and essential techniques involved with diving. At this point, all questions you may have will be answered. Once you are ready and under the supervision of your instructor, you will do a first dive 2 m under to familiarize yourself slowly with this new environment. As soon as you feel at ease, you will start exploring little by little (12 m maximum) your first dive in an unbelievable surrounding. You will then begin a 40 minute experience that you will never forget, floating in gorgeous turquoise water in the middle of tropical wildelife.
